Wirtschaftskundliches Privatgymnasium Bad Gleichenberg:
More than just a grammar school
My name is Kerstin Lamprecht, and I am the head of class in the first class of the private grammar school. This is a task that I look forward to immensely every single day. I would like to show you what is so special about my new challenge by taking a look behind the scenes…
We live teamwork!
Our goal in developing the private grammar school was to turn the “school of our dreams” into reality. But this is only possible if everyone pulls together. This “dream school” can only succeed through strong networking between our committed parents, the motivated teaching staff and the management. So far we are on a very good path. This is proven every day by the 20 bright pairs of eyes that eagerly look at us in class!
We make the future!
To be prepared for the challenges of the present and the future, we rely on digital competence. We leave the traditional paths of teaching and use the pupil’s own tablet in a targeted manner. The class is particularly enthusiastic about this. However, we pay attention to meaningfulness and added value. Very important here is the support of the parents, who are in constant exchange with us via a platform.
We look outside the box and learn differently!
We are particularly proud of our interdisciplinary teaching. We devote ourselves to current and regional topics. In this way we use synergies, encourage independent thinking and enable independent research. In doing so, support and challenges go hand in hand. At the moment we are dealing with the customs in the pre-Christmas period. The programme includes gingerbread baking, English customs and Advent wreath binding.
We see the human being!
The holistic well-being of children is close to our heart. School is more than giving grades and learning by heart. We want to be companions on the way to the future. Instead of taking over control, we encourage our students to find their own way together with our parents.
Thus we are ready for the students of the future!
